Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and coordination of marine EPC construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing engineering, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of marine construction projects including piling, dredging, reclamation, quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, and other marine infrastructure works.
- Review and prepare technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules and objectives.
- Support procurement activities by evaluating materials, equipment, and subcontractor requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards.
- Participate in project planning, resource allocation, and construction sequencing activities.
- Prepare progress reports, site records, technical correspondences, and project status updates.
- Assist in managing project interfaces and resolving technical and construction-related issues.
- Support commercial and contractual matters, including variations, claims, and project documentation.
- Attend meetings with stakeholders and provide technical guidance to site teams.
