Senior Product Engineer

As a Senior Product Engineer, you will play a vital role in our team, ensuring the efficient and effective management of product-related processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in setting up and maintaining BOMs in Agile and MES, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cost reduction and yield improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain BOMs in Agile and MES, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Deeply analyze BOM costs and work closely with process and test teams to reduce HPU, scrap, and improve yield.
• Complete mini-PIP tasks from customers and marketing, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Collaborate with R&D, NPI, and T&D teams for engineering verification, including product validation, failure analysis, and test debugging.
• Drive yield improvement and cost-down activities, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
• Coordinate and troubleshoot engineering-related issues, providing timely solutions and support.
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, ensuring a smooth flow of information.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions when necessary.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of product engineering principles and practices, especially in BOM management.
• Experience in cost optimization and yield improvement strategies, with a proven track record of success.
• Proficiency in using Agile and MES systems for BOM management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is an asset.
