Within this team, we have an opportunity for a Project manager to work in a talented, cross-functional, highly collaborative team to lead project management of product, engineering and deployment deliverables. This role will thrive in collaboration with product managers, engineers, scrum teams, and various cross-functional team members.
## Job Description
As a Project Manager in the Enterprise Security & Resilience team, you play a pivotal role in managing our engineering and product deliverables. You are responsible for ensuring that software development teams are aligned on important decisions, are accountable to the team and meeting projected timelines. In this Project Manager role, you work cross-functionally with engineering, service delivery and and their teams to manage the development and delivery of high-quality, market-leading SaaS solutions. Additionally, you are responsible for collaborating with product team to drive business and technical requirements for integrated solutions to completion.
This role requires a balanced perspective between the customer and the business, a hands-on approach, and the ability to move quickly to meet ambitious goals. You must have a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities include
- Plan, execute, and oversee technical product build and integration projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful project execution to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address any challenges that arise.
- Facilitate effective regular standup meetings with Engineering, Dev Ops, Operations, and Product Management teams to align on project status and key milestones.
- Track and report on project milestones, providing regular updates to Product Management leadership, Engineering leadership, and account teams.
- Partner with Product Management leadership and account teams to provide integration solution configurations that meet customer needs.
- Coordinate with both internal and customer teams to oversee implementation of integrated solutions.
- Work closely with Service Delivery, Dev Ops, and customers during the implementation phase, ensuring smooth integration and addressing any technical challenges.
- Act as a point of contact for technical inquiries, providing timely and accurate information to customers.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to maintain documentation related to technical specifications, processes, and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in project management methodologies and processes.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and apply lessons learned to future projects.
- Ensure clear communication across all stakeholders to foster collaboration and transparency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Information Technology, Risk Management, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered. PMP or MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience with project management practices and methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, particularly within technical environments.
- In-depth knowledge of software development and product management methodologies and project management frameworks.
- Demonstrated understanding of software architecture, APIs, and integration processes.
- A proactive and customer-oriented mindset with a passion for solving complex problems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively coordinate with diverse teams.
- A demonstrated ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Project Tracking tools and daily use tools - Smartsheets, Atlassian application (Jira and Confluence), Google suite (Docs, slides, sheets).
- Using AI tools effectively for communications and project management activities
- Manage product and engineering deliverables and work closely with engineering, services delivery and product teams.
Target Base Salary Range: $130,000 USD - $145,000 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
Note: Candidate must live in the Greater Chicago Area or Greater Boston Area.

## Basic Requirements
