Under the direction of the General Manager, Assistant General Manager and/or Yard Manager, the Yard Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day to day tasks of the facility yard operations. The yard manager will have the responsibility to offer support to the yard staff in an effort to facilitate an exceptional Copart customer service experience.
- Complete Daily/Weekly/Monthly Audits
- Daily Scheduling with Employee Time and Attendance
- Assist is security/loss prevention
- Monitor Productivity
- Monitor and maintain clean work environment
- Enforce safety awareness
- Oversee loading of vehicles
- Handle Employee/Customer Service Issues
- Maintain supply inventory and purchase supplies
- Enforce company policy and procedure
- Ability to complete all job tasks for positions supervised
- Travel as needed
- Maintain confidential information/documentation
- Ability to work on mechanical issues present on lots
- Fleet Management and preventive maintenance
- Monitor and maintain yard fence
- Facility and yard maintenance
- Available to answer alarm calls as needed
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1 plus years of supervisory or equivalent experience
- High School Diploma, some college or more preferred
- Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics
- Excellent customer service skills and attitude
- Computer proficiency ( MS Suite experience)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to direct and train others effectively as a team member
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal skills
- Ability to delegate/prioritize skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to read/write in English fluently
- Ability to coach, mentor, train staff
- Ability to differentiate color
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Inventory management skills
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Occasional overtime
Pay $24.60 - $27.53 per hour
