Trach/Vent, GJT & Seizure Care – Netcong, NJ

Location: Netcong, NJ Setting: Pediatric Private Duty Nursing Company: Affirmed Home Care

Provide meaningful, relationship‑based 1:1 pediatric care for a medically complex 4‑year‑old who benefits from skilled, attentive nursing support. Affirmed Home Care is expanding our Pediatric Division and seeking compassionate, experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a consistent pediatric case in Netcong, NJ.

This role offers steady hours, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to make a real impact on a child’s daily comfort, safety, and long‑term progress.

⭐ Schedule

Consistent weekly coverage:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday & Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM

⭐ About the Case

Pediatric patient: 4‑year‑old Clinical needs include:

• Trach/Vent care
• GJT feedings
• Seizure monitoring & safety precautions
• Daily support, comfort‑focused care, and consistent oversight

Engaged, supportive family and predictable weekly routine.

⭐ What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and clinical stability
• Perform trach care, suctioning, and ventilator monitoring
• Manage GJT feedings and medication administration
• Monitor for seizures and respond appropriately
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with the family and pediatric clinical leadership
• Support the child’s daily routine and developmental comfort

⭐ Pay Rates

• RN: $45/hr
• LPN: $40/hr

⭐ What You Bring

• Active New Jersey RN or LPN License
• Preferred pediatric trach/vent or seizure‑care experience
• Current BLS Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Physical exam within 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X‑ray within 5 years)
• Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
