Employer description

The Mobility Training Coordinator is responsible for delivering a best-in-class new hire experience by leading onboarding, facilitating orientation, ensuring Form I-9 compliance, and supporting employees through their first 90 days. This role partners closely with HR and Operations leaders to ensure new hires have the tools, resources, and support needed to succeed while maintaining compliance with onboarding requirements and employment regulations.

A Day in the Life: As a Mobility Training Coordinator, your day might begin by welcoming a group of new hires and leading an engaging orientation session. Throughout the day, you'll monitor onboarding progress, complete I-9 verification, coordinate training schedules, answer employee questions, and partner with managers to ensure key 30/60/90-day milestones are completed. You'll balance facilitation, employee support, and administrative follow-up to help create a smooth and positive onboarding experience for every new team member.

The salary range for this position is $28-32/hr.

What You'll Do:

  • Facilitate new hire orientation for all new employees at the site, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and welcoming first-day experience aligned to Oro Mobility's culture, values, and expectations.
  • Own end-to-end site-level Form I-9 compliance, including Section 2 completion within required federal timelines, reverification tracking, corrections, and audit-ready recordkeeping in accordance with USCIS requirements.
  • Monitor and track onboarding progression across all new hires, ensuring required paperwork, systems access, training modules, and site-specific requirements are completed on time.
  • Proactively follow up with hiring managers when new hires reach key onboarding milestones (e.g., Day 1, Day 30, Day 60, Day 90), prompting required check-ins, performance conversations, and probationary reviews.
  • Maintain onboarding trackers, dashboards, and reports that give the Mobility HR Manager and operations leaders real-time visibility into new hire status and completion rates.
  • Coordinate logistics for orientation and onboarding sessions, including scheduling, room setup, materials, virtual meeting links, and post-session surveys.
  • Partner with the Mobility HR Coordinator to ensure all pre-employment administrative requirements are complete before an employee's first day.
  • Serve as the primary onboarding point of contact for new hires during their first 90 days, answering questions, connecting them to resources, and escalating concerns to the Mobility HR Manager as appropriate.
  • Partner with COE Learning & Development to deploy enterprise-wide learning programs at the site, and to gather feedback on curriculum effectiveness and learner experience.
  • Continuously improve the new hire experience by collecting feedback from new employees, hiring managers, and leaders, and recommending enhancements to the Mobility HR Manager.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-3 years' experience in Human Resources, training coordination, onboarding, or related administrative roles.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent HR/training experience.
  • aPHR/PHR or ATD certification a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Form I-9 requirements and general federal employment eligibility processes; prior experience with E-Verify a plus.
  • Comfortable facilitating group sessions in person and virtually; strong presence, presentation, and adult-learning delivery skills.
  • Strong organization, time management, prioritization, and follow-through skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent onboarding cohorts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Oracle HCM, Workday, or similar) and Learning Management Systems.
  • Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous, high-growth startup environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Some evening/weekend availability may be required to support new hire orientation cohorts aligned to 24/7 operations.

What You'll Get:

  • Paid Time Off
  • Medical, Dental & Vision plan options
  • Retirement programs, including 401(k) employer matching
  • Paid Parental Leave & Adoption Assistance
  • Employee Assistance Program for employees & family
  • Educational Reimbursement & Discounts
  • Voluntary Insurance Programs - Pet, Legal/Identity Theft, Critical Illness
  • Perks & Discounts – Theme Park Tickets, Gym Discounts & more
