What you will do
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Assist pharmacist in retrieving prescription refills from veterinarian prescribers
- Follow up with patients as needed to clarify questions relating to and provide updates on their orders
- Perform data entry of valid prescriptions
- Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy

- Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications
- Fill exception trays with appropriate medication
- Work daily with the Operations team to ensure the right medications are put in the right pouches
- Transition orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control
- Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items
- Pack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxes
- Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time
- Aid the Operations team with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing
- Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas

- Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License (This includes Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Trainee)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of experience working with computer and web based tools

- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, self-starter capable of working independently
