Employer description
Join a respected independent family-owned pharmacy in Gander, NL, located adjacent to a busy medical clinic with 3 physicians. We offer a patient-focused practice where relationships, professionalism, and quality care matter. Unlike big box pharmacies, our emphasis is healthcare. We specialize in prescription services, medical equipment, over-the-counter medications, and patient aids — without giftware, confectionary, lotto, or heavily scented retail products.
You’ll join a supportive team consisting of 2 pharmacists (including pharmacist-owner), 1 registered pharmacy technician and 3 pharmacy assistants. We offer the stability and benefits of a large chain with the flexibility and appreciation of an independent pharmacy. Workflow is steady and manageable, with an excellent work/life balance: No evenings, Sundays or holidays, and only one 3-hour Saturday shift every third weekend. Experience is an asset, but aptitude and attitude matter most.
