About the role:

We’re looking for energetic, vibrant individuals to help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate within our Grocery Channel (Woolworths, Coles, Independents). This role will cover Shepparton and surrounding areas.

As a Merchandiser, you will support the Field Sales team in spreading the word about Lindt by:

• Building strong relationships with our customers in a designated territory
• Building POS (bins), to display Lindt products.
• Merchandising Lindt products at shelf e.g. Facing up, ticketing, investigating out of stocks and stocking shelves
• Stock rotation / cleaning / maintenance
• Identifying in-store display opportunities to drive increased brand exposure and sales volumes.
• Supporting your Area Manager with Preselling of the plan and negotiation of display locations
• Recording promotional compliance through CRM system
• Executing merchandising standards of excellence
• Reporting back on store and consumer insights

Put simply, our Merchandisers ensure we get noticed and that our chocolate is front and centre.

What you will bring:

• Previous grocery retail experience, ideally as a sales merchandiser or representative
• Confidence and commitment to work autonomously
• Ability to build strong customer relationships
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to productively plan and organise your working week
• Don’t mind getting some exercise in your day, whilst moving stock and building displays
• Ability to utilise an iPad (supplied) and associated software and apps
• Prior experience applying effective manual handling techniques
• A current "full" driver's license and vehicle.
