Introduction to the job
We are looking for a strong and proactive leader to join our Production Planning (PP) team as a Group Lead successor. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence by balancing demand and supply, driving planning performance, and enabling cross-functional alignment across manufacturing, program, and supply chain teams.
The position requires strong leadership, structured thinking, and the ability to operate in a dynamic environment with high complexity and ambiguity.
Role and responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Production Planning team to ensure stable delivery performance and operational efficiency
- Drive demand & supply alignment and secure output while maintaining quality and cycle time performance
- Own and improve planning processes (WOW), including master planning, capacity planning, and escalation management
- Act as a key interface between Manufacturing, Program (NPI), Supply Chain, and other stakeholders
- Identify risks in capacity, materials, and execution, and proactively propose mitigation plans
- Enable data-driven decision making through analysis, scenario simulation, and performance tracking
- Support organizational development, including coaching team members and building future successors
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency, transparency, and scalability
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, operations, or supply chain environment
- Experience in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or complex assembly environment is preferred
- Proven experience in leading teams or project leadership is a plus

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to drive alignment across functions and influence without authority
- Strong ownership and decision-making capability
- Experience with planning tools, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and data analysis (Excel, dashboards)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
