About the Role
We offer a flexible collaboration model based on a B2B contract, with the opportunity to work on innovative AI and automation initiatives for leading financial institutions.
We are looking for an experienced Expert Data Analyst to provide services within a large-scale data and analytics programme in the financial services sector.
The role combines advanced data analysis and transformation with responsibility for analytical workstreams. You will work with large-scale datasets, collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders, and share expertise with other analysts within the team. The role offers exposure to sophisticated payment environments, modern security technologies, and transformation initiatives delivered for leading financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate complex data analysis and transformation activities across large-scale datasets
- Translate business requirements into effective data and analytical solutions
- Deliver hands-on data analysis using Python, SQL, and PySpark
- Support the development and improvement of data transformation pipelines
- Coordinate analytical workstreams and provide subject-matter support and knowledge sharing to other analysts
- Collaborate with business, technology, and data stakeholders
- Identify data issues, trends, and opportunities and communicate findings clearly
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Python (upper-intermediate or above), SQL, and PySpark
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and data transformation pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions
- Experience coordinating analytical workstreams and sharing expertise with other analysts
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience within banking or financial services would be highly desirable
