CORPORATE ANALYST, DIRECTOR

Job Description:

A senior corporate analyst role in Thailand, responsible for leading rating reviews of major companies in the food & beverage, utilities, energy, materials and industrial sectors, as well as write and present rating assessments for Fitch’s credit committee review. Contribute to the further development of company and sector rating coverage and research in Thailand. Participate in regional credit committees to review other corporates in Asia Pacific. Communicate Fitch’s rating opinions to issuers, arrangers, investors, regulators and the media including public speaking at conferences.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics or Engineering, and a Master’s degree in a finance-related field or CFA is preferred;
• At least 12 years of experience in fixed income research, credit analysis, corporate lending or debt capital market advisory;
• In-depth knowledge of at least two of the following sectors: food & beverage, telecoms, power, utilities, oil & gas, petrochemical, materials, industrials or transportation;
• Advanced analytical, report writing and financial modeling skills;
• Clear, confident communication and presentation skills in English and Thai;
• Leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to mentor junior analysts and work in a collaborative small team;
• Thai language fluency is a requirement of this role.
