Cell Mechanical Engineer

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS/个人能力描述

• Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or related fields.
• 3+ years of working experience in cell mechanical development.
• Familiar with the whole structure of the top cap assembly
• Familiar with the assembly process/procedure/cost breakdown of the top cap assembly.
• Ability to independently undertake the development work, experience in automotive parts development is preferred.
• Having innovative thinking and the ability to optimize product design based on previous experience.
• Ability to use the 2D&3D software (CATIA, UG, etc.) to complete the development work. Simulation capability will be appreciated.
• Ability to conduct tolerance analysis and complete the DFM/DFA.
• Familiar with the metal forming and plastic injection process.
• DOE capability, and good data analysis capability to support the design/process optimization.
• Excellent skills in the general office software.
• Good English communication skills (Written and Spoken).
• Ability to communicate with and understand customer needs and requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills, team spirit, professional dedication and sense of responsibility.
• Familiar with IATF16949 (APQP/FMEA/SPC/MSA/PPAP).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES/任务和职责

• Based on the marketing survey/benchmark or technical specifications from customer to complete the product development and optimization.
• Concerning the cell top cap assembly, ability to support the supplier import and development.
• Ability to support the cell terminal process development.
• Technical communication with customers to promote the product development.
• Tracking the technical development activities, and supporting the root cause analysis and issue solved during the project development.
• Support the activities concerning the quotation of new products.
• Responsible for handling abnormal issues and improvements during the assembly process of structural components.
• Lead the reliability testing and functional verification of the cell top cap assembly.
• Pay attention to technological developments in the field, be sensitive to the new technologies.
