Could you be the full-time Industrial Quality Technician in Boksburg we’re looking for?
We are looking for Quality Technicians in both areas of Paint and Welding processes respectively.
## Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside knowledgeable and collaborative teammates.
You'll ensure product quality compliance according to customer and internal specifications, making a tangible impact on our manufacturing processes and outcomes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Production, Process & Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality Assurance, and Project Management), manage internal NCRs using problem-solving methodologies, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of performing workstation audits, qualifying manufacturing teams for self-inspection, and participating in customer inspections, but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
We have special processes like paint, welding, torque tightening as part of our operations.
We’ll look to you for:
- Supporting the Product Industrial Quality (PIQ) team within your scope
- Managing Internal NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) until closure
- Participating in Customer Inspections and qualifying manufacturing teams for Self-Inspection
- Managing Workstation Dynamic Checklists (Self-Inspection & Workstation Inspection)
- Performing or participating in inspections of products as required
- Contributing to PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and Quality Control Plans
- Driving continuous improvement across processes

- Technical diploma or degree in engineering
- Paint qualification and/or Welding qualification
- Ability to read drawings and specifications, with familiarity in using a variety of test equipment
- VT Level 2 and/or Welding Inspection Level 2 certification
- Experience in managing quality tools such as Problem Solving and Lean Six Sigma
- Knowledge of processes related to industrial-level quality
- Experience in visual welding inspections, dimensional measurements, and inspections
- Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and audits
- Competencies such as reactivity, resilience, rigor, and strong communication skills
- An inclusive mindset and a collaborative team spirit
- Understanding of quality standards like ISO9001, IRIS, and CMMI
