Superintendent — Mission-Critical & Commercial Construction (Full-Time W-2)

Lead daily field operations on large, mission-critical construction projects as the on-site superintendent. You will keep every trade working safely, productively and on schedule, and you will act as the main field contact for the owner's team. No electrical or mechanical specialty background is needed; strong general construction leadership is what matters most.

What you will do

• Direct the work of several trade crews, including electrical, mechanical, low voltage, plumbing and concrete teams.
• Plan field layout and line up the labor, materials, tools and equipment each phase needs.
• Build a jobsite with no incidents by watching conditions closely and following the owner's security and access rules.
• Pass design updates, requests for information and submittal decisions to the crews who need them.
• Book and oversee required inspections, and keep a precise record of site activity every day.
• Supervise field staff directly and drive punch lists, startup testing, closeout and handover.

What you bring

• A track record as a superintendent or assistant superintendent leading trade partners on site for a builder.
• Solid command of construction schedules, OSHA jobsite safety and quality control.
• A reliable commute to the project area or readiness to move, plus a valid driver's license with a clean record.
• The ability to clear the owner's security badge and background screening, and a high school diploma or GED.
• Strongly preferred: an active data center access badge, mission-critical experience, at least 15 years in commercial building with five spent supervising, and OSHA 30 plus first aid and CPR.

Location: Ashburn, VA

Pay: $55 to $65 per hour
