Employer description
We’re looking for an experienced Cabling Supervisor to oversee daily operations across our fibre network builds in the Western Isles, with regular travel to other areas of Scotland as part of the role. Acting as the first point of contact for our engineering teams, you’ll ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while keeping projects on schedule and compliant with all programme and H&S requirements.
This role involves working away from home for a period of up to two weeks at a time. Accommodation will be provided.
What We Expect of You:
In this hands-on and fast-paced role, you’ll take responsibility for managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring sites run safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You’ll carry out site and team audits to monitor compliance and performance, oversee all health and safety requirements, and provide guidance and mentoring to engineers to help resolve on-site issues.
You’ll also track progress, quality, and completion photos to maintain delivery standards, while keeping your Line Manager updated with regular reports and feedback. Strong supervisory, organisation, and communication skills are key to thriving in this dynamic build environment.
Experience of Circet and Openreach processes, systems and networks would be an advantage.
