Magna Legal Services is seeking a hands-on IT Support Contractor to support a company-wide Windows 11 upgrade initiative. This is a fully on-site role based at Magna’s King of Prussia, PA office. The 6-month contract role will focus on preparing, upgrading, configuring, and troubleshooting employee workstations while ensuring a smooth transition to Windows 11.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform workstation backups and prepare devices for Windows 11 upgrades.
  • Install and complete Windows 11 upgrades on employee desktops and laptops.
  • Install and update required hardware drivers.
  • Reinstall and configure business applications following upgrades.
  • Test upgraded devices to ensure hardware, applications, and peripherals function properly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, operating system, driver, and application issues.
  • Provide hands-on end-user support throughout the upgrade process.
  • Document completed upgrades and escalate more complex technical issues as needed.

Desired Background

  • Previous desktop support, help desk, or IT support experience.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
  • Familiarity with PC hardware, drivers, software installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in an on-site environment.
