Finance Intern - Closing & Reporting

In this role you will support the team responsible for the actual consolidation and financial reporting of all 300+ GE Healthcare entities. You will learn about technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver timely and accurate actual financial reporting.

Role Summary:

Intern will provide operational and analytical support to the Closing & Reporting team, assisting with accounting, reporting, and transformation activities. The role offers opportunities to develop technical accounting and financial analysis skills while gaining hands-on experience in global finance processes under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation and posting of journal entries in compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Perform basic equity investment calculations and assist with related financial reporting activities.
• Conduct financial analyses and data reviews to support business and accounting decisions.
• Assist the team in delivering global transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Participate in operational and reporting processes, gaining exposure to complex accounting activities under the guidance of senior team members.
• Collaborate with colleagues across functions to support month-end close, reporting, and ad hoc projects.
• Contribute to process documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement efforts.
