IT Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with expertise in Agile methodologies to lead complex technology initiatives. This role offers the unique opportunity to drive project delivery, providing strategic leadership across multiple teams and enterprise-level releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets
• Develop comprehensive project plans and risk mitigation strategies
• Monitor project progress against established KPIs and milestones
• Manage stakeholder communications and expectations
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Conduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learned
• Remove impediments and blockers affecting team velocity
• Protect team focus and manage scope changes
• Maintain and communicate sprint metrics and team health indicators
• Plan and coordinate release schedules across multiple teams
• Manage dependencies and integration points between teams
• Lead release readiness assessments
• Coordinate deployment activities and manage release communications
• Support continuous delivery practices and infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management experience
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar enterprise Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience managing cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Program/Portfolio Management (PgMP, PfMP) certification
• Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools
• Experience in both Mobile App and Desktop Application development projects
• Experience in AWS Cloud implmentation
• Background in financial services or enterprise environments
