Job Description
Who You'll Work For
Arista Networks is looking for Network Engineering Students to join our Internship Programme, helping us test the highest-quality networking products available. You will work alongside a dedicated mentor in the Testing Team for the duration of your internship, helping us explore, find and fix bugs, while we help you build upon your existing academic knowledge and skills.You don’t need to tick every box to apply, if you’re excited about networking and willing to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Work with your mentor to design and test network topologies, validating functionality, performance, stability and scalability of Arista's features and products.
- Write and execute test plans to verify all aspects of the feature and product, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Identify defects and validate resolution.
- Conduct test plan reviews to solicit feedback and identify customer-centric use cases.
- Networking Fundamentals: Strengthen your understanding of Network Design, Routing and Switching, IP Addressing
- Networking Protocols: Gain hands-on industry experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (TCP, UDP, IP, BGP, OSPF, STP…) and have exposure to Cloud Titans network design and cutting-edge technologies.
- Network Automation: Gain insight into how we use common scripting languages to automate various elements of our testing workflow and test at scale.
- Testing Methodologies: Learn structured approaches to testing features and products across multiple areas, focussing on Functionality, Performance, Stability, Reliability, Scalability and Interoperability.
- Troubleshooting Methodologies: Learn troubleshooting methodologies by actively diagnosing the issues you encounter.

Qualifications

Additional Information
- The candidate must be able to complete a 6-month onsite internship working a full-time schedule.
- Candidate must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland (no work VISA sponsored)
