Position Summary

The Snack Bar Attendant supports on-course food and beverage operations by preparing and serving snacks and beverages while providing friendly, attentive service and keeping the snack bar organized and ready for service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support daily snack bar operations through setup, service, clean-up, and closing tasks as assigned.
  • Greet guests promptly and provide courteous, guest-focused service.
  • Prepare and serve snacks and beverages, including grilling and rotating items such as hot dogs and brats to maintain quality and freshness.
  • Accurately handle cash and card transactions, including end-of-shift cash handling and reporting as needed.
  • Maintain inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate shortages or discrepancies.
  • Keep the snack bar, equipment, and surrounding service areas clean, organized, and ready for service throughout the shift.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old by the first day of employment.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Completion of Learn2Serve training for alcohol service, food handling, and tobacco prior to or within 30 days of employment.
  • Previous Food & Beverage or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Clear and effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Minimum availability of three full eight-hour shifts per week, including either Saturday or Sunday, with flexibility based on operational needs.
  • Professional demeanor and dependable work habits.
