Job Description
Salary Range: 9,350 - 12,400 SGD base per month + RSUs
About the Spend Squad:
We build products that allow our customers to spend their money anywhere in the world. We currently process about £34 billion annually and issue cards to over 40 countries. We are also building out features which localise the spending experience no matter where you are.
As an Android Engineer, you would be responsible for shipping the direct customer touch points on one of Wise's most impactful products and highest growth products.
What you will do:
You will contribute to the technical execution of our mobile product, working closely with backend, frontend, and product teams to deliver high-quality features.
Your day-to-day focus will be:
- Contribute to engineer-driven product initiatives. You will be involved in the implementation and technical planning of features, ensuring they are shipped effectively and scalable.
- Support the development of the card product across our product teams. This includes working on key user flows like card ordering, transacting, 3DS authentication, and dispute resolution alongside other engineers.
- Write clean, maintainable code on your platform, advocate for mobile best practices, and collaborate with the wider globally distributed tribe to ensure a seamless mobile experience.
- Influence one of Wise’s most recognisable and high-traffic products.
- Drive product evolution by actively contributing to strategic direction and technical roadmaps, moving beyond mere execution to shape the future of our offerings.
- Work in a healthy environment built on transparency, ownership, and trust, alongside a very talented group of frontend, backend, and product peers.
