The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland.
The analytical development for Mammalian products is looking for experienced laboratory technicians at the Visp site. In your role, you will have the opportunity to support process development stages through advanced technologies in process analytics and expand your knowledge in analytical method development projects. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to lead your own improvement and innovation projects.
This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you'll do:
- Execute experimental lab work using techniques such as ELISA, Gyrolab, and qPCR, adhering to defined expectations and schedules. Collaborate effectively with individual scientists and laboratory technicians to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Perform evaluation, maintenance, and qualification of laboratory equipment. Prepare and update working instructions for lab equipment, ensuring proper use and functionality. Maintain the laboratory workspace to ensure appropriate maintenance and efficiency.
- Support process improvements within the AD Mammalian group by contributing to workflow optimizations and identifying areas for increased efficiency.
- Provide support for training activities in your area of expertise, helping to develop skills and knowledge within the team.
- Ensure cleanliness and order are consistently maintained in the laboratory to promote a safe and organized working environment.
What we are looking for:
- MSc or BSc specializing in biology, biochemistry or a similar field
- Team player and well organized
- Enjoys working in a young and dynamic team
- Good knowledge of English is required
