Lead Supervisor, Production

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• The Lead Supervisor plays a critical role in managing and optimizing daily production operations within the Production area. This position is responsible for ensuring that production targets related to output, quality, and delivery are consistently met while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. The Lead Supervisor serves as a key liaison between production teams and cross-functional departments, including Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Human Resources.
• In addition to supervising production operators and line leaders, the Lead Supervisor also manages a team of engineers, driving process improvements, supporting new product introductions, and implementing lean manufacturing initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• The Lead Supervisor is also accountable for workforce planning and development, ensuring that the team is well-trained, motivated, and capable of meeting both current and future production demands. This includes identifying training needs, developing skill matrices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical /industrial engineering/ Industrial Management or another engineering specialization with Industrial Management experience
• Typically, 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
• 1+ year of managerial/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI, Email, internet access, and SPC software.
