Veterinary Technician

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Venipuncture
• Catheter placement
• Radiology
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Physical examinations and patient assessment
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Dentistry
• Laboratory work
• Pharmacy
• Patient recovery
• Compassionate care for hospitalized patients

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have documented previous experience
• Surgery experience
• Flexibility in hours including but not limited to weekends
• Customer service skills
• Working knowledge of computers
• Excellent communications skills
• Capable of being cross-trained as receptionist and care concierge
• Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
• This a Day Shift position
