What you will do
- To perform the job successfully, an individual will need the following:
- · Knowledge of garment construction, fit, balance, fabric and finishing.
- · Lead fittings and identify fit corrections to achieve final approvals, take detailed notes in fit sessions.
- · Accurately evaluate and spec samples to determine compliance of specs, construction and assess overall garment quality
- · Communicate accurate and precise garment corrections to domestic and overseas vendors without supervisor oversight to ensure quality sample submits

- · Collaborate with Design and Product Development team to ensure design intent is executed and the highest quality of fit, construction and workmanship is executed

Buck Mason is seeking a men’s technical designer with Men's Denim, Bottoms, & Outerwear experience to oversee development of ready-to-wear pieces. You will be responsible for developing technical packages, creating specs, and evaluating garments for consistent fit and construction, and running fittings, in addition to coordinating between factories and the design team.

- · Experience in Bottoms, Denim, Outerwear
- · 3-5 years of prior work experience in Technical Design or Patternmaking
- · In depth knowledge of fabric, apparel, materials, construction and fit
