Process Control Engineer

Rinvio is hiring a Process Control Engineer for industrial automation, controls, and process improvement work in the Wickliffe, Kentucky area.

Pay: Pay negotiable based on experience

Location: Wickliffe, KY

Schedule: Full-time project/plant support work; schedule may vary by project and site needs

Type: Full-Time W-2

Responsibilities:

• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize DCS and PLC systems including DeltaV, Honeywell, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens platforms
• Tune PID control loops and improve process stability, reliability, and throughput
• Integrate field devices using HART, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, Profibus, and related industrial communication protocols
• Lead or support automation upgrades, migrations, commissioning, and system expansion projects
• Analyze process data and implement continuous improvement strategies for plant performance
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project teams to resolve control-system issues

Requirements:

• Process controls, automation, or controls engineering experience in an industrial environment
• Hands-on experience with DCS and/or PLC systems such as DeltaV, Honeywell, Allen-Bradley, or Siemens
• Strong understanding of PID loop tuning, process stability, control strategy, and plant troubleshooting
• Experience with field device integration and industrial protocols such as HART, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, or Profibus
• Ability to support automation upgrades, migrations, commissioning, and system expansions
• Comfort analyzing process data and recommending practical continuous improvement actions
• Reliable transportation to the Wickliffe, KY area
• Must be professional, safety-minded, and able to complete any site onboarding requirements
