Job Description
In this role, you will be part of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD), which develops, manufactures, and markets diagnostic tests for allergies, asthma, and autoimmune diseases.
With 1,900 employees globally, IDD is a world leader in in vitro diagnostics (IVD) for allergies and a leading provider of autoimmune diagnostics in Europe. The division’s global headquarters are located in Uppsala, where more than 750 employees work across research, development, and manufacturing.
How will you make an impact?
We are looking for a Scientist R&D to join our Research & Development team in Uppsala.
In this role, you will take the lead in one of our product data management workflows and actively contribute to its optimization and documentation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining scientific knowledge with structured administrative responsibilities and wants to contribute to products and processes that make a meaningful difference.
What will you do?
- Improve and optimize product data management workflows
- Add, update, and maintain product information and documentation in internal systems
- Ensure that product data is accurate, complete, and up to date
- Collaborate across the organization to support other departments and serve as a superuser for relevant systems and workflows
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of products, processes, and ways of working
- Work in accordance with applicable quality, regulatory, and safety requirements
What will you need?
- An advanced degree with relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least three years of relevant industry or research experience
- An educational background in natural sciences, preferably Biotechnology, Biomedical Laboratory Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field
- Experience in data management, documentation, and technical writing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with Phadia AB's products is considered an advantage
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Experience working with quality systems such as GMP, GLP, or ISO is considered an advantage.
