Site Supervisor - Site Escort

Disclaimer: This position is contingent upon contract award. Interviews and preliminary candidate screenings are currently underway to identify key personnel for an upcoming project.

The anticipated start date is mid-October 2026, subject to contract award.

Escort Supervisor-Minimum Qualifications

The Contractor shall provide qualified supervisory personnel responsible for the direct oversight, coordination, and performance of all escort personnel assigned to the project. At a minimum, each Escort Supervisor shall meet the following qualifications:

1. Supervisory Experience:

• Minimum of three years of experience supervising escort personnel in a regulated, controlled-access, industrial, construction, government, or nuclear environment.
• Must be able to maintain a Q clearance while maintaining eligibility of site access to perform assigned supervisory responsibilities.

1. Fitness for Duty:

• Comply with all applicable Fitness-for-Duty requirements and site policies.
• Understand behavioral observation responsibilities and promptly report observed behavior or conditions that may indicate an individual’s inability to safely or reliably perform assigned duties.

1. Required Training:

• Successfully complete all required site orientation and security training before performing supervisory duties.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of escort responsibilities, access control requirements, security boundaries, reporting requirements, emergency procedures, and applicable site security policies.
• Complete all project-specific and site required refresher training within established timeframes.

1. Escort Operations Knowledge:

• Demonstrate the ability to supervise and coordinate escort coverage for contractors and construction personnel.
• Understand applicable escort ratio’s, continuous observation requirements, work area restrictions, access limitations, and procedures for maintaining positive control of escorted personnel.
• Ensure escort personnel remain properly positioned and attentive while performing escort duties.
• Ensure escorted personnel remain within authorized work areas and comply with applicable site requirements.

1. Supervisor Escort Responsibilities:

• Provide direct daily supervision of assigned escort personnel.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate assignments, work locations, special conditions, and changes affecting escort operations.
• Verify adequate staffing and coordinate relief coverage to prevent interruption of required escort coverage.
• Monitor employee performance and immediately correct identified deficiencies.
• Ensure personnel understand their duties, responsibilities, and limits of authority.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Be capable of prompt communication security concerns, personnel accountability issues, unusual conditions, or violations through the established site reporting process.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, reliability, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to enforce requirements consistently.

1. Physical and Work Requirements:

• Be capable of performing the essential functions of the position within the project work environment.
• Meet all occupational, safety, or site-specific requirements established for the project.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Exposure to outside elements for long periods of time in extreme weather conditions.

1. Site Authority:

• The Escort Supervisor shall understand that final authority regarding site access, security requirements, security boundaries, escort requirements, and security-related work restrictions remain with the NRC licensee/ Site Security Organization.
• The Escort Supervision shall immediately implement direction provided by authorized site Security personnel concerning escort operations.
