Job Description

Performing analytical testing using instrumentation including, but not limited to, Cell Culture, pH, Conductivity, Bioreactors, Autoclave; may use analytical methods including, but not limited to, Statistically analyzing large data sets and drafting technical reports to support commercial filings; participating in investigations; documenting test results in notebooks and reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Applies to the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
  • Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Conduct routine analytical testing with good dexterity, good laboratory techniques, and high degree of accuracy and precision
  • Document test parameters, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely
  • Understand and perform calculations as required by test methods
  • Understand and utilize computers for information access, calculations, and report preparation
  • Read and understand analytical procedures (compendia and client supplied) and internal SOPs
  • Prepare reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures
  • Participate in conducting investigations when assigned
  • Perform laboratory maintenance and housekeeping as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences field.
  • Ability to perform laboratory tasks requiring manual dexterity and precision.
  • Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and analytical testing.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Additional Information

  • Position is full-time, schedule is first-shift, Monday-Friday 8AM-430PM.
  • Pay range: $22.50 - $25.00
