Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Support the management of the London Market transformation Office, delivering PMO activities for one or multiple projects as required.
- Apply PMO practices and processes ensuring that the project is consistently following client methodology and tools.
- Support reporting across the transformation portfolio, specifically focused on Risk and project performance
- Support Resource forecasting in line with transformation requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting across the transformation portfolio facilitating executive level decision-making within Arch Insurance UK
- Support the successful execution of key transformation initiatives primarily within the London Market department.
- Communicate feedback continuously with key transformation partners across Actuarial, Finance, IT and London Market transformation.
- Work with various business partners to define requirements and document best practices within transformation activities supporting the end-to-end business and Finance/IT processes.
Role Requirements & Skills
Skills / Competencies
- Experienced working within a PMO function within financial services
- Proficient in the use of Project Management tools and system
- Experienced in Risk & Change Management and escalation procedures in a project and portfolio context
- Problem-solver with the ability to identify and deliver solutions on issues.
- Strong verbal, written and technical (Excel and PowerPoint) communication skills essential
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty
- Must be able to work independently to draw conclusions and make recommendations to the London Market Transformation Head & Lead
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or other discipline preferable.
- Project Management accreditation preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in a Project Management Office or Business Analyst role.
