Drive the Future Program - Investment Banking

Through a structured training and development experience, participants receive educational content designed to help them navigate the organization, develop key technical and interpersonal skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the JPMorganChase culture. They will also gain exposure to the firm’s culture, values, and organizational structure while building a strong professional network.

In Chile, DTF opportunities are open to candidates who graduated within the last 12 months. Participants are hired for an initial 6-month period, with the possibility of extension based on participant’s performance and feedback. This role requires full-time, in-person availability in Santiago de Chile only.

This year, we are looking to hire a select number of highly qualified candidates to join our Latin America Investment Banking team based in Santiago, Chile, working closely with our regional offices and headquarters in New York.

• J.P. Morgan actively participates in the most relevant Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) transactions
• Our Latin America Investment Banking team is widely recognized and has received several international awards in recent years, including Best Investment Bank in Chile and Latin America

Job responsibilities:

• Work closely with analysts, associates, and senior bankers, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach.
• Assist in building and updating financial models, including valuation analyses (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions) under the guidance of senior team members.
• Support financial statement analysis and gather data on company performance, industry trends, and market conditions.
• Provide support on live M&A, capital raising, and advisory transactions by assisting with data collection, research, and administrative coordination.
• Help organize and maintain due diligence materials and data rooms.
• Contribute to the preparation of client-facing materials, including pitch books, presentations, and profiles, with support from analysts and associates.
• Compile relevant news, financial data, and background information for client and prospect meetings.

Job Requirements:

• Graduates of Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics (with a maximum of one year since graduation), or students about to graduate from these fields (only pending thesis or one course, allowing full-time and 100% on-site availability).
• Genuine interest in corporate finance
• Strong academic background
• Sharp communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a highly demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and an excellent work ethic
• Advanced English proficiency
• Full-time availability to work in person
• Strong data skills, including proficiency in Excel and other tools, to analyze and interpret data to support decision-making
