Job Description
We are looking for an Accountant & LATAM Accounting Coordinator to join our team in Argentina and support the establishment and ongoing financial operations in the LATAM region.
This is a hands-on accounting position with an additional regional LATAM coordination scope. You will be responsible for managing local accounting activities supporting group reporting requirements, and coordinating selected accounting processes with external providers across the LATAM region, particularly in Brazil and Mexico.
The role will suit someone who enjoys working independently, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable coordinating with both internal stakeholders and external accounting partners in an international environment.
Key responsibilities
Argentina – Local Accounting
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Argentine legal entity.
- Work with SAP and ensure accounting data is accurately recorded and maintained.
- Prepare accounting data, analyses, and reports required for group reporting.
- Support month-end and other periodic closing and reporting activities.
- Cooperate with external accounting and tax providers where required.
- Potentially support payroll-related activities in cooperation with an external payroll provider.
- Ensure accounting documentation and data are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
LATAM – Regional Coordination
- Coordinate selected accounting processes across the LATAM region, particularly Brazil and Mexico.
- Act as a key point of contact for external accounting firms supporting these countries.
- Coordinate the exchange of financial and accounting information with external providers.
- Monitor the timeliness, completeness, and quality of data received from local providers.
- Follow up on outstanding information and clarify accounting-related questions.
- Support the preparation and consolidation of information required for group reporting across LATAM.
- Work closely with internal Finance stakeholders to ensure consistent and timely reporting.
