🔧 Position Details

Role: Restaurant Cook / Line Cook

Pay Rate

• $15 per hour
• Holiday pay: 1.5x regular rate

Schedule

• Day Shift: approximately 9:00–10:00 AM to 3:00–4:00 PM
• Evening Shift: approximately 3:00 PM to 9:00–10:00 PM, including closing duties
• Approximately 7–8 hours per day
• Overtime may be available but is not guaranteed

📋 Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to restaurant standards and established recipes
• Work efficiently on the line during restaurant service
• Prepare ingredients and maintain food-preparation areas
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation
• Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and kitchen-cleaning duties as assigned
• Work cooperatively with restaurant and hospitality team members
• Maintain a professional appearance in an open-kitchen environment

📋 Job Requirements

• Previous restaurant or line-cook experience preferred
• Approximately 1 year of restaurant experience preferred, but training may be provided
• This is an operational line-cook position; professional chef experience is not required
• English required; bilingual candidates preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Must be comfortable living and working in a rural community
• Blue jeans and non-slip shoes required
• Work shirts and caps provided
• Must successfully complete a background check
• Must meet E-Verify employment eligibility requirements
