Job Description
Summary
The SPLATAM Revenue team is looking for a Revenue Analyst II to support accounting, regional planning and reporting functions. You will collaborate with finance and accounting teams across North America to improve and standardize planning, accounting and reporting processes. You will work with Finance and business teams, supporting both unit-specific analysis and region-wide projects to enhance planning and reporting dashboards. This is an important role in a growing team, providing opportunities for growth for you. You will report to the Revenue Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee and support monthly revenue recognition activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and accurate financial reporting.
- Review contracts and transactions to determine appropriate revenue treatment, including timing, allocation, accruals, deferrals, and required adjustments.
- Accomplish Month End Close responsibilities, including journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, database updates, forecasting support, and revenue reporting.
- Analyze revenue trends, movements, and variances by researching discrepancies across financial and operational systems and providing applicable insights.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Billing, and partners to resolve revenue recognition issues and ensure accurate transaction accounting.
- Support audit requirements and improvement programs through process standardization, control enhancements, reporting improvements, and automation opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance, or Revenue Recognition.
- Advanced English level.
- Excel skills required; experience with financial systems and tools such as Oracle, OBIEE, Hyperion, SmartView, or similar systems as ideal.
