Position: Asbestos Consultant
Location: South East England
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Consultant to join a successful and expanding national asbestos team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in the South-East region, with a hybrid working model and travel required to client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct building surveys and bulk sampling.
- Perform asbestos air monitoring, including issuing Certificates of Re-occupation and Statements of Cleanliness.
- Provide expert advice to clients on legal requirements, regulations, and industry standards related to asbestos management.
- Prepare accurate reports and plans in standard formats.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly quality requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 12 months of experience in a related role within a UKAS-accredited organization.
- P402, P403, and P404 modules or equivalent certifications.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Full UK driving license.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 per annum + Company Car/Car Allowance.
- 37.5 hours per week plus paid overtime (when required)
- Annual leave: 33 days, including public holidays.
