Banking Services Operations Associate III - Records & Retention

Overview:

This position is on the Mortgage Document Processing File room team whose primary function is managing the documents and files for HELOC and residential mortgages. The team handles various processes including File intake for new loans, drop-filing, file requests/deliveries, and warehousing.

This is an operational support function that will require a high level of attention to detail. The associate will be responsible for managing the initial intake of newly booked HELOC files and the organization of any incoming loose documents.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the intake of HELOC files into the file room; this includes labelling and getting them tracked into TabFusion.
• Responsible for prepping HELOC and residential mortgage documents for inter-filing into file folders.
• Responsible for file creation in TabFusion for loans that require it.
• Act as a cross functional support resource, training and assisting in other operational processes as volume demands

• Complete complex file room duties as assigned.
• Assist with coordination for loan acquisitions and transfers.
• Adhere to the Company’s standards for confidentiality.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand
• Receive and process incoming and outgoing loan folders, and/or documents in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required :

Associates’ degree or a minimum of 2 years’ work experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
