Team Overview
The Marketing team is responsible for strengthening Buró de Crédito's market presence, supporting commercial priorities, and deepening relationships with clients, prospects, and strategic stakeholders through impactful brand and customer engagement initiatives. As part of this team, the Marketing Events function leads the strategy and execution of corporate, commercial, and thought leadership events that support business growth and reinforce brand positioning.
This role collaborates closely with Marketing, Sales, Communications, and Executive Leadership teams and reports to the Director, Brand Management.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of Buró de Crédito's portfolio of corporate, commercial, and brand-positioning events, ensuring alignment with business objectives and marketing priorities.
- Translate strategic business initiatives into impactful event experiences that strengthen relationships with clients, prospects, and key stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive event project plans, timelines, budgets, and execution frameworks to ensure successful delivery within established deadlines and quality standards.
- Manage relationships with agencies, venues, vendors, and external partners, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and service quality.
- Oversee attendee registration, guest management, event logistics, and onsite execution to deliver exceptional participant experiences.
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all event communications, materials, and attendee touchpoints.
- Identify project risks, establish contingency plans, and proactively resolve issues to ensure seamless execution in dynamic environments.
- Monitor event performance and business impact through KPIs, post-event reporting, stakeholder feedback, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and senior business leaders to align event strategies with commercial, client engagement, and brand awareness objectives.
- Drive operational excellence by continuously improving processes, execution standards, and attendee experience across all events.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- 5+ years of experience planning, managing, and executing corporate, commercial, client-facing, or brand-building events, with demonstrated success delivering high-quality business outcomes.
- Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Knowledge of event planning methodologies, project management principles, and operational best practices to ensure successful execution from concept through completion.
- Experience collaborating with executive leadership, clients, vendors, agencies, and cross-functional business teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of budget planning, vendor management, contract coordination, and resource allocation to maximize event effectiveness and efficiency.
- Proven ability to evaluate event performance, interpret results, and recommend improvements that enhance business impact and attendee engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Education requirement pending validation.
Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency with event management and registration platforms used for attendee engagement, communications, and reporting.
- Experience using project management tools to track timelines, deliverables, resources, and stakeholder commitments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for presentations, budget management, reporting, and event planning documentation.
- Ability to analyze event metrics, attendance reports, stakeholder feedback, and campaign results to support data-driven decision-making.
- Experience managing event budgets, forecasts, and vendor-related documentation with strong financial oversight.

- Advanced English proficiency with strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset and ability to identify opportunities to enhance event effectiveness and attendee experiences.
