About the opportunity
Unique opportunity for an experienced caesarean midwife in a level 6 Tertiary Hospital. Our unit caters for Obstetric women who require Elective and Emergency surgical care offering a challenging environment. In this vital role, you will support women, babies and families throughout the elective caesarean birth journey from pre-operative care to recovery. An opportunity to make a meaningful impact to women and their families, within a supportive and multidisciplinary environment
- Deliver High Quality, Women Centred Midwifery care within a collaborative team
- Strong commitment to staff education and ongoing professional development
- Monday to Friday Dayshift with no night duty or weekends required

To thrive in this role, you will have
- Registration as a Midwife with AHPRA
- Recent experience as a Caesarean Midwife
- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
