Job Summary**
The Billing Coordinator II plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of Primoris Energy Services in Amarillo, Texas. This position is responsible for accurate and timely invoicing, ensuring compliance with company policies and client contracts.
Job Responsibilities**
- Prepare and process complex invoices for various energy services projects, including time and materials, fixed price, and unit price contracts.
- Review project documentation, work orders, and field tickets to verify billable hours, materials, and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and obtain necessary approvals.
- Reconcile accounts, research payment issues, and assist with collections efforts as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized billing records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Generate various billing reports and analyses for management review.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide training and support to junior billing staff as required.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications**
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a billing or accounts receivable role, preferably within the energy, construction, or services industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Viewpoint) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of billing principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of contract terms and conditions related to billing is a plus.
