The Day-To-Day: · Provide short-term counselling services through the Telus Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
· Support a diverse set of clients dealing with various personal issues that may or may not be work-related
· Manage clients facing urgent or crisis situations requiring immediate attention
· Deliver services through multiple modalities including face-to-face, telephone, video sessions, and chat
· Clinically manage client risk within a short-term counselling framework
About The Role:
We are currently looking for a mental health clinician to join our Telus Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP) team. This vital role sits at the heart of workplace wellbeing, where you'll make a meaningful difference in people's lives during their most challenging moments.
You'll provide essential mental health support to employees across diverse organizations, helping them navigate both personal and work-related challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of clients across multiple service delivery channels, ensuring accessibility for those who need immediate assistance or prefer different modes of communication.
The position requires both clinical excellence and adaptability, working within a short-term counselling framework designed to provide effective, timely interventions. You'll be part of Telus Health's commitment to supporting employee wellbeing at scale, contributing to a service that directly impacts thousands of individuals and their families.
About You: · Qualifications in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
· Professional registration with the relevant health professional body (AHPRA, AASW, ACA, PACFA)
· Minimum three (3) years counselling experience
· Ability to clinically manage client risk and work within a short-term counselling framework
· Confidence with computer systems is an asset
