Looking for steady, part‑time decorating work with regular hours and long‑term security?

We’re recruiting a Painter / Decorator to join our on‑site facilities team at HMP Full Sutton, a well‑run prison site just outside York.

What’s on offer

• £17,718 – £20,635
• 24 hours per week – Monday to Wednesday, 08:00–16:30
• Occasional weekend work (1 in 3) paid at +15% of the base salary allowance
• Long‑term, stable role with Amey

The job

• Planned and reactive painting and decorating
• Commercial environment – no private customers
• Working safely to site procedures
• Supporting prisoners involved in decorating work

What you’ll need

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting & Decorating
• Comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside prisoners
• Good understanding of health & safety

Prison security clearance, Standard DBS and Counter Terrorism Check required – fully supported by Amey.
