Your Opportunity
Our GTA Audit Practice is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join the team, with flexibility to work from either of our two offices: Toronto or Oakville. This is an existing vacancy where the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:
- Conduct and support audit engagements by preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Streamline the preparation of year-end engagements and tax returns for clients across diverse industries.
- Foster positive working relationships with clients, and promptly address their requests and suggestions.
- Maintain ongoing communication with team members regarding progress updates and issues.

Your experience and education
- You have completed or are currently working towards your CPA designation.
- You possess a minimum of 1 year of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
- You have exposure to or familiarity with IFRS, or US GAAP standards.
- You prioritize teamwork, client service, and quality while completing detailed work.
- You exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- You possess a solid understanding of accounting policies and assurance techniques.
The expected range of compensation for this role is: $ 54,000 to $ 76,000
