What you will do
About the Role
The PICC (Principal, Inventory, Costing and Currency) Finance team is responsible for Inventory Management, complex financial transactions and flows, costing, currency and intercompany pricing. PICC team ensures that all supply chain/cost transactions, analysis and reporting are accurate and compliant in line with Kenvue guidelines.
The Finance Analyst will play an important role in supporting the monthly financial close process, inventory reporting, and reconciliation activities. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and external partners to ensure accurate inventory accounting and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Support monthly and quarterly inventory financial closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Calculate, analyze, and report key inventory metrics, including Gross Inventory, Net Inventory, and Days of Supply (DOS).
- Prepare and review inventory account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Perform Book-to-Book and Wall-to-Wall inventory reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and coordinating corrective actions with business partners.
- Analyze inventory balances, inventory movements, adjustments, and reserves, providing insights on key drivers and variances.
- Support inventory forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
- Prepare recurring reports and analytics to support decision-making by Finance and Supply Chain teams.
- Partner with Operations, Logistics, Planning, and third-party warehouse providers to ensure inventory accuracy and process compliance.
- Maintain and update process documentation, desk procedures, and internal control requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and automation.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Preferred
- Experience in Inventory Accounting, Cost Accounting, Supply Chain Finance, or Operations Finance.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Knowledge of inventory metrics and KPIs, including DOS, Inventory Turns, Inventory Accuracy, and Inventory Reconciliations.
- Experience with financial closing and account reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, or other data analytics tools.
