Baker Hughes Process & Pipeline Services (PPS) supports the full lifecycle of customers' asset from pre-commissioning to decommissioning. Our engineered solutions for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance shutdowns include specialized services for the oil and gas, power generation, metals and mining, and other process industries.

Partner with the best

As Workshop & Equipment Technician, you maintain diesel driven units, electrical compressors and related equipment in accordance with operating specifications. You weld, paint and refurbish equipment, conducting mechanical inspections. You may use moderately complex diagnostic equipment and handle special projects, as assigned.

As an Workshop & Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing/Preparation of load outs of equipment ensuring equipment is certified.
  • Loading/uploading/packing of project equipment.
  • Responsible for certification packs on to project folders/Maximo.
  • Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly, and test verification accuracy.
  • Maintaining equipment records, scheduling maintenance of equipment and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.
  • Inspection of parts and equipment.
  • In house pressure testing/Recertification/Creation of certification.
  • Working in compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

·Have knowledge of mechanical operating procedures and processes.

·Proven related experience.

·Good analytical skills.

·Have a High school diploma with a Mechanic certification.

·Drivers licence.

·English speaking.
