UW Medical Center-Northwest - Main Operating Room has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM)/RN3 as a Plastics, Breast, Otolaryngology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery service line coordinator. The ANM/RN3 will support service lines at NW Main Operating room and the Outpatient Surgery Center. This role is critical to support operational excellence OR competency in a complex/diverse/high volume service.

WORK SCHEDULE

·Full time, 40 Hours per week

10 Hour shifts

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The ANM/RN3 is a role developed to work in coordination with leadership in Surgical Services to ensure the work is accomplished safely, efficiently, and according to best practice. The RN3 serves as leadership support for staff, physicians, and other related providers on service-specific issues. This position will work closely with leadership and staff of the operating rooms at the University of Washington - Northwest Hospital and Northwest Outpatient Medical Center.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrates knowledge and skills needed to function as a subject matter expert for their assigned service line.

Demonstrates efficiency, flexibility, and appropriate prioritization in ensuring daily availability of service line supplies, instrumentation, and equipment for patient care.

Collaborates with leadership to build reference /library of best practices / processes for onboarding / training team members to be competent at delivering service.

Demonstrates effective communication with surgeons, staff, and resources (internal and external) to support service line.

REQUIREMENTS

Current Washington State RN license, or applicable RN Multistate license

Current BLS certification

Minimum 2+ years Operating room circulating experience with a variety of specialties

Charge Nurse experience preferred

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$50.72 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:

$93.06 hourly

Other Compensation:

$5.00/hr nights $4.00/hr weekends $3.00/hr evenings $1.25/hr Nursing Certification $1.00/hr BSN
