Team Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, digital marketing and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

Specific Responsibilities include

The Director is a consulting leader responsible for driving client impact, originating and growing consulting engagements, and building deep relationships with clients. The role combines strategic problem solving, senior client relationship management and practice development. The role is expected to contribute to the growth of Visa’s consulting practice by identifying new opportunities, shaping proposals, and building market-leading capabilities. Key responsibilities include

  • Identify, shape, and convert consulting opportunities within existing and prospective client relationships.
  • Partner with Visa core sales teams to create and execute account growth strategies.
  • Oversee project governance, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Guide engagement teams through complex analyses, problem solving, and executive storytelling.
  • Contribute to development of consulting methodologies, tools, frameworks, and intellectual property.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, financial services, payments, technology, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex client engagements and executive stakeholder relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to develop a credible point of view on a variety of industry topics, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Executive presence including excellent communication and presentations skills, written and verbal, and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations.
  • Demonstrated leadership, managerial and collaboration capabilities, particularly with those who are not direct reports as may be found in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience using financial indicators to measure business performance with a significant focus on impacting return on investment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking and / or payments.
  • Ideal candidate will have payments and consulting experience
