Are you a university student looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic R&D laboratory environment?

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Student Worker to join the Advanced Reagent & Technology Testing (ARTT) team at Agilent in Glostrup. In this role, you will support both laboratory operations and administrative activities, contributing to the efficient day-to-day running of our laboratory while gaining valuable industry experience.

About the Role

The position primarily involves supporting laboratory operations through purchasing, inventory management, and practical laboratory tasks. You will work closely with laboratory technicians and scientists to ensure that supplies, reagents, and equipment are available and well maintained.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and quality processes within an ISO-certified company.

The position is expected to run for a minimum of two years and requires approximately 10–15 working hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create purchase orders in our purchasing system based on requests from laboratory staff
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies, consumables, and reagents
  • Support equipment maintenance and related documentation
  • Coordinate with laboratory users to support daily laboratory operations
  • Contribute to maintaining an organized and efficient laboratory environment

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is currently enrolled in a university program and expects to have at least two years remaining before graduation
  • Is interested in gaining practical experience alongside their studies
  • Has an interest in laboratory work; experience with protein-based laboratory techniques is considered an advantage
  • Is well-organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Is proactive and able to work independently
  • Has a structured and analytical approach to tasks
  • Is comfortable using and learning digital systems and tools
  • Works well with a wide range of stakeholders and enjoys collaborating with others
  • Has strong written and spoken English skills

Previous laboratory, administrative, or industry experience is an advantage but not required. Training will be provided.
