Change the world. Love your job. The Advanced Technology Development team at TI is looking for a Process Development team leader supporting the MEMS/Sensor team. This Engineer will lead a team of 4-5 engineers doing unit process development and loop development work across multiple TI fabs. You will help define MEMS/Sensor Process Eng. road map and work with vendors and outside foundries where needed to find alternate pathways enabling program goals and priorities. This person should have knowledge of semiconductor fab processing and integration, specifically in MEMS product development. Responsibility will include process development and Si tasks management, integrated loop development, ensuring all processes are meeting program goals and requirements with high volume manufacturability in mind. This position requires the person to have a solid background in material science, chemistry and fab systems. Proficiency in project management, jmp/spot fire and other tools for data analysis are required with good presentation skills. A successful candidate will have to work across organizations / fabs / resources set up to deliver robust processes supporting ATD MEMS/Sensor road maps including working with MEMS/sensing roadmap team to enable development of exciting new MEMS/Sensing technologies from early feasibility studies thru production qualification and ramp. Having knowledge in MEMS packaging and back-end integration is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- Drive process and device improvements through characterization, test, design of experiments, data analysis and simulation
- Work with multiple process, integration, reliability, packaging and test engineers to achieve these goals
- Work closely with the product groups to identify and optimize the resonator performance to meet critical final device parameters to enable game changing products in the market.
The person performing this role must be capable to plan effectively, drive schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundaries. They must be able to clearly communicate project status and actions. Additionally, they must be able to interface with multiple organizations and work well on a diverse team to accomplish goals.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Masters in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree
- 5 years of experience working on MEMS/Semiconductor devices taking these devices from development to production on schedule
