Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Work closely with Sr Manufacturing Manager, Operations Leads and Engineering to set monthly production schedules.
  • Meets regularly with Supply Chain Management to review changing demand and schedule adjustments resulting from the unexpected (i.e. delayed raw material delivery).
  • Must understand financial implication of any schedule changes.
  • Reviews month to date schedule performance to “Make” plan and to “Ship” plan.
  • Participates and facilitate weekly schedule compliance meetings.
  • Works with Project Leads and Engineers to buy required materials and make schedule adjustments to provide machine time.
  • Provides project support as required (material change, graphic change, BOM form updates, etc)
  • Actively collaborate with leadership including Plant Manager, Production managers and Engineering leads to ensure budget plans are aligned to the right production volumes based on customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
  • Maintains working business relationships with vendor sales and service representatives.
  • Strives to meet or exceed raw material inventory targets in dollars and turns.
  • Supports all plant safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
  • Subject matter specialist in material master data including: MM updates, Manufacturing data maintenance and creation, Manufacturing BoM doc linkage, Purchase parts BoM creation, Purchase parts BoM doc linkage.

Education and experience required:

  • BA/BS Degree in applicable field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience required, 7 - 10 years of experience preferred.
